2005 Hunter Ranger for sale.

Kingfisher is an extremely well presented Hunter Ranger 245, and since 2005, is now called Hunter Channel. This is an upgraded version of the Ranger.

The boat was built in 2005 by Select Yachts/Cornish Crabbers, and designed by David Thomas, but not commissioned until the spring of 2006. It is fitted out internally to the same high standard as the popular Cornish Crabber range.

The twin keel arrangement is ideal for exploring shallow waters and creeks but the boat is also regarded as a highly reliable seaworthy vessel for venturing further afield, hence the Cat B rating.

Kingfisher was, in fact, a boat show exhibit at the 2005 Southampton International Boat Show, and was therefore completed with numerous factory fitted extras not normally found on a boat of this size.

Internally the boat is immaculate, with many extras and an excellent inventory. She is an exceptionally spacious boat for her size, offering full standing headroom and up to six berths in two cabins, and a separate heads with shower.

The vessel is powered by a 2YM15 14HP Yanmar diesel engine with low hour usage. She is an easy to handle cruising yacht, with self-tacking jib and lazy jack mainsail system with all the reefing sheets led back to the cockpit.

Kingfisher is currently on the hard at Gweek Boatyard near Falmouth, allowing for easy inspection, and is ready for launching. The engine has been fully serviced, and the hull cleaned and given two coats of International Micron 350 antifouling.
