1974 Westerly GK24 For Sale [SOLD STC]

£1,000

1974 Westerly GK24 for sale. The Westerly GK24 was a radical departure from Westerly Marine's traditional line of solid cruisers. Designed by Laurent Giles, the prototype, "Ebblake IV" was an out and out IOR Quarter Ton Cup racing yacht built in cold-moulded mahogany, which was very successful over a two year period. From this design, and with the experience gained over the two years racing, the GK24 was launched in 1974, as a club racer, with a choice of two rigs (masthead or fractional) and three levels of internal fit-out (ranging from stripped-out racer to fully fitted cruiser).

This example Lottie Of Mylor was one of the first hulls laid by Westerly. She is still ready to sail with a fractional rig but would benefit from some cosmetic enhancements.

There are 2x Genoas and a storm Gib all in excellent condition, plus the main sail which is in useable condition. Her layout has 2 quarter berths and a small double forward. She has a 2 burner gimbaled gas stove and a head.

She comes with a VHF radio, Solar charging panel, depth and speed log, and nav lights.

The current owner has a 5hp Suzuki outboard that needs some attention that can be included in the sale if the price is right.

We welcome offers on her asking price.
